From records to possibility
An illustrative journey from a work record to a defined license. Every step needs the right scope and permission.
Illustrative example
A service ticket can connect a reported problem, a technician’s decision and the result. That context may be useful to an AI buyer.
Ownership and control
You review what is included and how it can be used before committing. An inquiry starts a conversation; it does not grant rights to your data.
The buyer receives the license you agree to. Review its scope, duration, exclusivity and permitted uses.
Identify the records, fields and sensitive information that must stay outside scope. Confirm that you hold the rights to license them.
Agree the recipient, preparation, anonymization and delivery requirements before any files leave your systems.
For AI buyers
Tell Dragonfly the workflows, coverage and acceptance criteria you need. We start with a descriptive brief.
Before you begin
We help you build a focused records brief, identify questions about fit and arrange an introduction you approve. Work directly with Jake Lee. The buyer makes any offer; you decide whether to accept.
Value depends on history, context, quality and licensing rights. Dragonfly starts with a description of your records. Any valuation or offer requires buyer review.
The license sets the schedule, including any approval, anonymization, delivery and acceptance requirements. Review these before signing.
You retain ownership of the underlying data and grant the rights defined in the agreed license. Review duration, exclusivity, permitted uses and any limits on future licensing before committing.
Dragonfly may receive a buyer-paid referral fee on a qualifying transaction. We explain that arrangement and agree any separate services, fees or revenue share before you commit. An inquiry creates no paid engagement or data license.
Descriptions only: record types, approximate history, source systems and who can approve licensing. Keep company files, customer records, employee identifiers and system credentials in their source systems. Any later sharing requires an agreed recipient, scope and permission.
This explores a cash payment for an agreed data license, rather than borrowing. An inquiry is not a credit application or a guarantee of a buyer, payment or licensing approval.
Polyshares reports $300k for a general contractor and $450k for a roofing company, both for perpetual, exclusive data licenses. These are buyer-reported market examples. Individual offers depend on the records and agreed rights; these figures are not estimates for your business.
